Why is my kitchen sink draining so slowly?
Over time, grease, food particles, and soap scum build up in your pipes. During the holidays, "potato peel season" is our busiest time! We recommend avoiding putting fibrous or starchy foods down the disposal.
If it’s already backed up, we can come quote it. It might be as quick as running a cable to clear the stoppage, or more involved requiring a Sewer Camera to see what is causing the blockage.
My toilet is running constantly—is that actually a big deal?
Aside from the annoying sound, a running toilet can waste hundreds of gallons of water a day, spiking your utility bill. It’s usually a simple fix like a worn-out flapper or fill valve, which we can swap out in one visit. It might require a new toilet altogether, in which case we’ll work with you on replacing it.
How do I know if I have a slab leak?
In North Texas, our soil shifts, which can cause pipes under your foundation to crack. Look for unexplained warm spots on your floor, a sudden spike in your water bill, or the sound of running water even when all faucets are off.
If you suspect a slab leak, call us immediately for a professional diagnostic.

We’d be happy to look at your home and see if it’s a good fit for your family.
My gas is shut off - can you help turn it back on?
Yes! Sometimes the gas company identifies continues gas usage and shuts off the gas when they suspect a leak. Plumbers come out to locate the leak, quote the issue and repair the problem. The city inspector reviews then work. The gas company can then safely turn the gas back on after the city inspection has passed and it is safe to se
How can I prevent my outdoor faucets from freezing?
Ahead of the first North Texas freeze, disconnect all hoses and cover your outdoor faucets with insulated bibs. If your faucet is already leaking or dripping, it’s best to replace it before the temperature drops to prevent a pipe burst inside your wall.
We recommend installing a frost-free outdoor faucet, sometimes called a hose bib. This helps prevent freezing and pipe bursts in cold weather by moving the shut-off valve far inside the warm part of your house, connected by a long tube, and featuring a self-draining mechanism so water in the exterior pipe empties out when turned off, keeping the vulnerable section dry.
